Our dedicated web hosting is backed by a Tier 1 data center, name brand servers, and options for managed and unmanaged hosting. If you operate a moderate to large size website, we can help you install and run your own dedicated web server. 

What comes with my dedicated server?

Your dedicated server is housed in a rack unit at our data center. Your server can come pre-configured, or we can provide the root access so you can configure everything on your own. If you need a dedicated server but do not have a server technician, we can manage your server for you.

If you would like us to manage your server, we will assign one of our server technicians to make sure your server is running smoothly. The technician will make sure your server is running at all times, that it has the latest software updates, that it has the best security available, and can help with software installation and customization. This is our best package for full peace of mind.

Each of our servers comes from name brand providers, and have RAID-1 mirroring redundancy be default. We also have weekly local backups in the case of total server failure (it hasn't happened to us before, but better safe than sorry)

What software comes with my dedicated server?

A default installation of a dedicated server will include Linux, Apache, Mysql, and PHP. We will install a licensed version of Plesk, so you could have basic server access for things like managing email and subdomains. Of course, you will have root access, so you could configure the server according to your needs.

What if I need support?

If you have our managed server package, one of our technicians can help you with any work needed on your server. If you have an unmanaged account, there are still several areas in which our technicians would be able to help you:

• System reset in case the server stops responding.
• Basic troubleshooting to help diagnose problems, and provide per-hour billed maintenance if necessary.

You will also have an account manager that you can call or email if you have trouble.

Which dedicated server is right for me?

If you have your own server technician, our unmanaged servers provide great bang for the buck. However, if you need someone to manage your server, our technicians will be more than capable of helping you. Keep in mind that on unmanaged servers, we can provide per-hour billed server work if necessary.
