This tape amalgamates with itself when applied under tension, using no glue, meaning it can lasts for incredibly long periods of time.
It isn't activated until you remove the plastic backing and stretch the tape. This tape will stick only to itself, so make a note of the requirement for a 50% overlap of clean (grease-free) tape.
